Adding an image to the editor

To add an image to the editor is also a very easy thing to do. Just remember to resize the image before uploading, because if you resize it with the editor, it will still be the original size when you uploaded it...

So, in the editor, click where you want the image to be, and click on the Insert/Edit Image button. This will open up the Image Properties dialog. At the top, you will see four tabs (Image Info, Link, Upload and Advanced).

So, to upload a new image, simply click on the Upload tab at the top, which will take you to the Upload section, where you will see the browse button. Go ahead and click the browse button, and select the image on your hard drive, then click OK.

After clicking OK, you will see the path for the image is written in the text box to the left of the browse button. Now, very important, click on the Send it to the Server button - this will start the upload of the file, and store it online on your website server. Depending on how big the image is, it can take a few minutes to upload, so be patient!

After successfully uploading, you'll see a message stating that the file has been uploaded successfully. This will automatically take you back to the Image Info tab, and in the Preview box you should see the image that you just uploaded, and the image height and width fields will automatically be filled in. Now click the OK button, and you'll see that you've just successfully added an image to the editor.

Once again, make sure you save!
